Neale Woods is a nature preserve with 600 acres of forest and hilltop prairies. It has 7 miles of nature trails. Dogs are not allowed here.
Parking
There is metered street parking in Blackstone, along with a few free or paid lots nearby. I usually park in the neighborhood to the south of Blackstone. It’s free to park there and usually isn’t too long of a walk. Just be careful walking around at night.
Location
Neale Woods is off Edith Marie Ave in North O. There is a small gravel parking lot at the entrance that’s free to park in. There is an entry fee to use the trails at Neale Woods, which you can pay at a dropbox on site. This is a Fontenelle Forest property, so if you are a member, you get free admission to Neale Woods.
