Location: Downtown
2200 Dodge St, Omaha, NE 68102
The Joslyn Art Museum reopened their doors in 2024 after a major renovation, which included the addition of a 42k square foot pavilion and revamped outdoor spaces. The museum is a beautiful blend of old and new!
General admission to the museum is always free. And the garden spaces outside are pet friendly.
Parking
There’s a free attached parking lot on the north side of the building. Parking is first come first serve. If this parking lot is full, there’s metered street parking on surrounding streets. There are entrances on the north and east sides of the building.
Metro Bus
Route 93, 94, 97, 120: Stop ID 2949 24th & Dodge NE
Route 24: Stop ID 3064 24th & Dodge St
Typical Attire
I saw people wearing casual attire — jeans, sweatshirts, athletic wear, etc. As always though, wear what you like and what you feel comfortable in!
Accessibility
The Joslyn has a variety of resources available to make the experience accessible to all. There are ADA parking spaces outside the main entrance on the north side. The main and garden entrances are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchairs are available to borrow from the welcome desk. Sensory kits are also available at the welcome desk. There are multiple elevators for easy access to all floors. ASL interpretation are available for select programs and by request, plus assistive listening systems are available for some programs.
